Cosmetology II students achieved Second Place

Cosmetology II students achieved Second Place in the Skills USA Total Fashion Look Competition 2016 at the State Fair on September 26, 2016.  The students demonstrated the ability to perform comb out and styling techniques on a live model. Students performed services on stage. The model was evaluated for Total Fashion Look including make-up and accessories.

The high school Nursing Assistant students were honored with a pinning ceremony held on May 19, 2015 at Amelia-Nottoway Technical Center.  There were 11 students who completed the program.  The students are now eligible to take the National Nurse Aide Assessment exam for licensure.  The students have completed their applications to take the exams and are awaiting test dates.  Congratulations to all of the students!

The cosmetology students of the day and evening programs at Amelia-Nottoway Technical Center were  honored in a graduation ceremony on May 22, 2015 at the center. There were 4 high school students and 5 adult students who completed the program. Upon completion of the program, the students are eligible to take the state board exam for licensure. The high school students have taken their state board exam (with a 75% passing rate), and the adults were to take their state board exams on Friday, May 29, 2015. Congratulations to all of the students!
